The hood with giltwood figural finials, the polychrome painted dial with mytholigical figures above a recessed panel painted with a sea-scape and a coastal town with penny moon aperture and automaton ships and figures of a seamonster, mermaids and a shackled figure depicting the story of Prometheus and Andromeda, silvered arcaded Roman and Arabic chapter ring, ringed winding holes, subsidiary seconds with date aperture above, angled shaped apertures for days with zodiac symbols, painted steel hands, eight day four pillar movement with anchor escapement, Dutch strike on two bells; pendulum; crank key; two weights;
