With gadroon borders, plain centre, the detachable pedestal foot with fluted knop & acanthus leaf chasing, 13 in. diameter (33 cm.), 6½ in. high (16.5 cm.), 42 oz.

A very similar Portugese example from Oporto, c.1700, is illustrated in "Ourivesaria Portuguesa nas colleccoes particulares", - Santos & Quilhó, Ill.176, p.141.
