CASES: canvas-covered and aluminium bound compartmented outer box with leather strap; aluminium drum inner case, its screw-off bezel engraved SIDEREAL TIME; case key
DIAL: with brass bezel and bevelled glass with capped winding aperture to silvered dial, 24-hour ring with outer minutes in red, 56-hour up/down ring numbered 19089 to its centre, subsidiary seconds ring with cut-away sector for access to electrical contacts assembly, stop/start lever to the rim, also with make/break electrical contacts
MOVEMENT: gilt plates secured with four pillars, chain and fusee with maintaining power; numbered tipsy key with leather pouch
ESCAPEMENT: Earnshaw-type with flat strip steel spring detent, cut bimetallic balance with palladium helical balance spring
270 mm. wide case, 150 mm. diameter drum, 100 mm. diameter dial
