The above racket was used by Bjorn Borg in the 1981 Wimbledon Final. In reaching the Wimbledon Final, Borg stretched his winning streak at the All England Club to a record 41 matches. In the Semi-Final, Borg was losing to Jimmy Connors two sets to love before coming back to win the match 0/6, 4/6, 6/3, 6/0, 6/4. Borg was defeated in the Final by John McEnroe in four sets, 4/6, 7/6 (7-1), 7/6 (7-4), 6/4.

Borg took a number of rackets on court for the Final. From the condition of the strings, the above racket has clearly been used. All of Borg's personal rackets also had the printed "D" on the strings, as this clearly does.
