Of Cardinal's hat form, painted with Mars and Venus flanking Cupid before a mound on a sandy shore with blue mountains and buildings on islands in the distance, the scene enclosed by rockwork and trees, the underside inscribed in blue Venere e Marte (cracked across between 11 o'clock and 4 o'clock and restuck, small chip and associated crack at 3 o'clock, an extended crack about the well of the underside extending to the rim, slight chipping and flaking to rim)
