An early Steiff teddy bear
with blonde mohair, black boot button eyes, pronounced clipped muzzle, black stitched nose, mouth and claws, swivel head, jointed elongated limbs with felt pads, hump and blank button in ear, circa 1906 --12½in. (32cm.) high (darn to front, general balding and thinning, right hand pad replaced, left pads holed and patched)
