A very fine Steiff center-seam teddy bear
with reddish gold mohair, black boot button eyes, pronounced clipped muzzle, black stitched nose, mouth and claws, swivel head, jointed elongated limbs with felt pads, hump, soft stuffing, blank button and unusual starched linen child's collar with three black edged points each side, circa 1906 --19in. (48cm.) high (very slightly faded)
