A Chinese cafe-au-lait and Chinese Imari bowl, 1720-1750, with 19th century ormolu mounts
with rounded walls rising from the tall foot, the exterior decorated with triangular-lobed leaf panels enclosing famille rose peony sprays, reserved on a cafe-au-lait ground, the interior decorated in Chinese Imari with foliate peony and daisy sprays and butterflies and insects -- the bowl 10 3/8in. (26.4cm.) diam.
