A pair of Chinese famille rose dishes, Yongzheng (1723-1735)
each decorated with a scene framed within a scroll of two ladies engaged in conversation in a garden before a pavlion, one leaning over a pierced rock laden with a censer, watched upon by a man in a willow tree peering over the garden wall and an attendant looking through a pierced window, all framed by peony and aster sprays and encirceld by a trellis band below the rim, the undersides with three lingzhi fungus -- max. 9 1/16in.
