A Chinese famille rose dish, Yongzheng (1723-1735)
the centre decorated with three ladies and their attendants standing in a fenced garden beside a table laden with a floral vase, censer and ruyi-sceptre, before a lotus pond with ducks below a tree with a parrot perched on a stand, the cavetto with floral cartouches reserved on a honeycomb ground, the everted rim with floral cartouches on a foliate peony ground between a narrow wan diaper band and a trellis border -- 8 15/16in. (22.7cm.) diam.
