A RARE SMALL DECORATED LANGYAO BOTTLE VASE
KANGXI PERIOD (1662-1722)
The bulbous body and tall neck covered in a glaze of deep crushed strawberry color ending in a neat line on the slightly tapered foot, delicately incised and painted in black enamel below the rim with a band of two different dragons, one of pinkish-buff color, the other of pinkish-rose color, racing amidst tiny green flames, within black line borders, all on a ground shading from copper red to a pale blue-green, with white rim, crackle-suffused ivory ground on the interior and a pale celadon glaze on the base
7¼ in. (18.4 cm.) high, wood stand, box
