TWO KAKIEMON EWERS, late 17th Century
Decorated in iron-red, green, yellow, blue and black enamels, the body with two panels depicting figures with fans and parasols standing beside a bough of cherry blossoms issuing from rockwork, divided by stylized flowers and foliage in a knot form, the loop handle decorated with scrolling karakusa (one with rim chip, glaze frit)
