Two Chinese export silver goblets, late 19th century
the first of a bell shape supported on a dragon foot above the domed spreading base chased with a shell, decorated with a shield cartouche engraved 'CHD presented by Members of Club Germania Hong Kong Civilian Athletic Sports 1879' amidst equestrian warriors and soldiers by pagodas; the second of an ovoid form, supported on a bamboo shaped foot rising from the domed base with rockwork, the cup decorated with an engraved shield cartouche amidst scholars and attendants by pagodas, rockwork and trees, CW and two charcter marks -- max. 7¾in. (19.7cm.) high. (2)
