An 'egg and spinach' glazed pricket-stick, Kangxi (1662-1722)
modelled as a smiling immortal with scrolling beard, arms raised to support the quatrefoil pricket attachment balanced upon his head, the figure squatting on a rectangular pierced plinth partially glazed in brown, green, yellow and cream glaze -- 8in. (20.3cm.) high.
Provenance
The Chinese Porcelain Co. sticker to base.
