An aubergine glazed bowl, Kangxi (1662-1722)
with deep rounded sides rising to the everted rim, supported on a short foot, covered with a mottled violet-blue glaze forming an irregular wave pattern below the rim, the glaze stopping short of the foot ring -- 6¾in. (17.1cm.) diam.
