AN EASTERN MEDITERRANEAN CORE-FORMED GLASS ALABASTRON
CIRCA MID 4TH-EARLY 3RD CENTURY B.C.
Cobalt blue in color, the cylindrical body with a rounded bottom, rounded shoulders, a cylindrical neck and horizontal disk rim, the body with alternating opaque white and yellow marvered threads wound spirally and tooled into a zigzag pattern, with shallow vertical striations from the tooling, and twin blue lug handles
