Note de dégustation: Goûté pour la première fois à la dégustation des Master of Wine en Novembre 1998 : pas aussi profond qu'attendu ; positif, parfumé ; un parfum étonnamment sucré, riche, attrayant mais aussi tannique. Une autre unique note à la dégustation à l'aveugle de Rodenstock : bien qu'une couleur riche, il a l'apparence la plus mûre des 1ers crus ; fruit en morceaux ; suavité, qui donne à mâcher, tannins marqués. Tasting note: First tasted at the MW tasting of '94s, November 1998 : not as deep as expected ; positive, fragrant ; surprisingly sweet, rich, attractive flavour but of course tannic. The only other note made at Rodenstock's blind tasting of '94s : though richly coloured the most mature looking of the first growths ; chunky fruit ; some sweetness, chewy, marked tannins.
