A FINE COPY OF THIS SCARCE EPHEMERAL GUIDE. The map shows various settlements in the Black Hills, among them Crook, Gay, Deadwood, Spring, Golden, Custer, Martinsville and Rapid. It is claimed in the text that the route from Cheyenne is the best because of its proximity to military posts. On the recto of the sheet is a detailed itinerary from Cheyenne, information about stage lines and miner's attire, etc. Streeter sale IV:2062.
