A 19th century scrimshaw whale's tooth with an image of an American eagle**
engraved on the front with an image of an eagle holding olive branches in it's beak, with crossed American flags and a cannon below; on the back are images of plants, a heart and geometric patterns, as well as some additional later engraving. Displayed on a mahogany stand.
