John Almys, circa 1882
in the form of an eight-sided casket with lignum vitae fitted corners, a hinged lid with latch, decorated with floral and animal motifs, mounted on a bone wall plaque cut and pierced with a pair of birds at the top and a floral motif along the sides. Signed and dated on the back.
