An mid-17th century watch stand in the form of a two tiered hutch**
with hinged door and drawer in the base, made from wood and covered in bone and ivory decorated overall with polychrome details and pierced carved foliage, flowers and geometric patterns on a foil background, surrounding a central painted seashell design with the date '1645' carved at the top, interior lined with foil, on bracket feet [watch not included].
