The case with stepped top with egg and dart and dentil mouldings and with acanthus and anthemion cast mouldings to the plinth, raised on four milled feet, the white enamel Roman dial with outer concentric date ring, signed DENIERE/Fab. de Bronzes, blued steel Breguet hands, arrow date hand and counter-poised sweep seconds, the twin barrels movement with pinwheel escapement and countwheel strike on bell; knife-edge suspended gridiron pendulum, key
