The case with bevelled glasses and with reeded columns to all angles, surmounted by a terrestrial globe signed Maison/DELAMARCHE/Paris/Rue Serpente 25, driven by the movement below and showing world time against the equatorial ring, a silvered ring below showing the days of the year, with provision for disengaging the globe from the escapement for demonstration purposes, the gilt Roman dial with recessed subsidiary day of week dial, blued steel hands, signed JOHN WANAMAKER/PHILADELPHIA NEW YORK/PARIS/C H HOUR FRANCE, the twin barrels movement with rack strike on gong and repeat stamp for WANAMAKER to the back plate; pendulum
