QIANLONG PERIOD (1736-1795)
The compressed, lobed sides intricately carved and pierced with peony scroll which is repeated on the spreading quatre-foil foot, the handles formed by peony stems bearing two full blossoms, and the domed cover and large cushion knop carved en suite, the greyish-white stone with some some opaque white mottling and fine black speckling
7 5/8 in. (19.4 cm.) across handles, wood stand
