The cup with a scroll handle enriched in gilding, the body finely painted in puce camaïeu with an extensive estuary scene with figures at discussion beside a leaning tree before a port with a tall dilapidated building, a tower and distant ships, the saucer with a river landscape with figures on a rocky outcrop by a tree before a distant town with a windmill and a tower, each vignette on gilt scroll and trellis supports, gilt line rims (saucer with very minor wear to centre and rim) (2)
