A PARIS ORNITHOLOGICAL PART DINNER-SERVICE
CIRCA 1810, VARIOUS INCISED LETTERS
Painted with specimen birds, including a toucan and parrots, in landscapes, the borders with gilt ciselé fruiting scrolling foliage between gilt bands and centred above by rectangular band panels enclosing script species identifications, comprising:

Twelve dinner-plates (one with star-crack to centre, one with D-shaped section of border broken out and restored with associated crack)
Two bowls
An oval dish
(minute wear throughout, some with slight wear to rims and edges of wells)
The oval dish 10½ in. (26.7 cm.) wide; the bowls 8 3/16 in. (21.3 cm.) diam.; the plates 8 5/8 in. (22 cm.) diam. (15)
