THE PORCELAIN CIRCA 1725, THE DECORATION VERY SLIGHTLY LATER
Painted in Schwarzlot in the manner of Ignaz Preissler, the beaker with a continuous landscape with buildings, trees and figures in the foreground, two driving a donkey across a bridge, the saucer with a harbour scene, with figures on the quay with a donkey carrying packages and with a camp fire, within an iron-red and gilt line panel, the borders with gilt scrolls, diaper-panels and pendant husks, within broad gilt band rims (beaker with two shallow footrim chips)
