Emblematic of Sound from a series of the Senses, modelled standing playing a stringed instrument, wearing a purple and green flowered over-jacket and purple-edged green skirt, on a scroll-moulded mound base enriched in purple (restoration to head of instrument and fingers, minute chipping to edge of sleeves)
