CIRCA 1790, UNDERGLAZE BLUE CROWNED HD MARK
Modelled by Höckle, standing before a tree-stump holding bagpipes under his right arm and a stick in his left, wearing a red wide-brimmed hat applied with yellow ribbons, a blue waistcoat and a pink jacket and breeches, a recumbent hound at his feet, on a grassy shaped oval mound base (replacement stick, restoration to dog's nose, bagpipe and yellow ribbons on his hat, repainting to edge of footrim and shoes, minute chipping to footrim)
