The waisted case surmounted by a cherub holding a sphere with stars, seated on the back of a goat, glazed side panels, decorated overall with ormolu foliate C-scroll mounts and door mount decorated with a dragon, arcaded repoussé dial inset with black and white enamel cartouches, enamelled centre (restored) signed Collier A Paris, later? pierced and chisselled ormolu hands, the eight-day twin barrel movement with square plates joined by four back-pinned pillars, reconverted anchor escapement, calibrated countwheel positioned on the backplate with repeating signature, striking on one bell above; later pendulum; restorations
