A QAJAR POLYCHROME URN AND LID, IRAN, 19TH CENTURY
Of typical baluster form, decorated to body with a series of large lobed cartouches each with bird and floral sprays in manganese and cobalt blue, a band of diamond shapes running horizontally between each, a further band of flowers around rim, the lid with running animals - 15in (38cm) high; and another similarly decorated Qajar pottery item (3)
