Second issue of Taylor's atlas, 'very usefull for gentlemen and travellers being made fit for the pockett'. The first issue appeared in 1715, although the plates were made much earlier and first published by Richard Blome in Speed's Maps Epitomiz'd, 1681. The whereabouts of the plates since 1693 is unknown. Although most coats-of-arms were changed or erased, Blome's name remains on some plates, eight of which are signed by W. Hollar as engraver.
