LATE 17TH CENTURY, PERHAPS CASTELLI
The central arms within a strapwork escutcheon flanked by ribbons and surmounted by a helmet, the displayed hawk crest with the motto EXALTAT, within a a roundel against a ground of stylised foliage scrolls and flowerheads, the raised yellow rim with managanese scrolling foliage, on a knopped stem and spreading circular foot (broken across and restored, restoration to rim from 6 to 9 o'clock, including section of rim at 9 o'clock restuck and restored with associated losses, chip to underside of rim at 11 o'clock with residue of old repair, small firing fault or chip to upper side of foot near footrim)
