Of cylindrical form, the domed cover with the bust of a turbaned Turk as the finial, the body painted with a bird perched among large chrysanthemum, peony and other indianische Blumen issuing from green rockwork, flanked by Frauenkopf scroll-handles, the rim with an iron-red fretwork band, the cover similarly decorated and with a band of alternate trellis panels and scrolls
