The pear-shaped jug with gilt acanthus-molded spout and upright C-scroll handle, painted front and back with quayside views reserved within quatrefoil gilt cartouches, the rim enriched in gilt, with paper label inscribed LON 97; the teabowl with a continuous European landscape and harbor view above two concentric iron-red lines, the interior with a similar vignette

The teapot, waste-bowl and a cup and saucer from the service to which the present teabowl belongs is in the collection of Mrs. C.B. (Bessie) Stout, Dixon Gallery and Gardens, Memphis, Tennessee.
