With sharply tapering stiff-triangular blade, recessed octagonal ricasso, beaded baluster hilt including rectangular quillon-block engraved with the owner's coat-of-arms and coronet on one side and with his initials 'AS' on the other, and in its original iron-mounted leather-covered wooden scabbard.
