THE SECOND CIRCA 1765
The first with silver maker's mark WK, Colichemarde blade (rust patches), boatshell hilt decorated with spiral and diagonal fluted patterns in low relief, and original grip of patterned wire; the second with hollow-triangular blade etched at the forte, the hilt cast with pierced designs of rococo flowers involving trophies of music and war, and retaining its original grip of patterned silver wire and ribband (knuckle-guard missing).
