London: for Sherwood, Neely and Jones, January 1822-May 1828. 13 volumes, 8°, 153 plates and portraits, most engraved, 54 hand-coloured, after Samuel Alken and others, a few folding or double-page (lacks the final issue for June 1828, short tears in a few half-titles, oilstain in lower fore-corners of vol. VI, a little offsetting and a few light stains elsewhere), contemporary half calf (heavily rubbed). Provenance: Admiral Palmer (signature at head of title in vol. I) -- William Beamish Beaumont (armorial bookplate).
