Lot Essay

The D-37W was conceived as the Signature Edition guitar for singer-song writer Lucinda Williams. The back and sides are of quilted mahogany and the peghead is inlaid in pearl, based on an Aztec design favored by Williams. This guitar was never put into production and only the four prototypes exist.
