Lot Essay

The Marquis and Golden Era series guitars made by Martin are recreations following the specifications of their guitars made prior to World War II. This OM-45 Marquis is made in the style of a 1933 OM with the exception of East Indian rosewood utilized for the back and sides. These guitars are still in production by Martin and this instrument was made as a production prototype.
