This work is number one from the edition of one.

Inspired to document the natural phenomenon of red hair after reading of its decline in the larger population, Van der Woude's series Natural Redheads juxtaposes the vibrancy of her subjects' glorious manes with the earthy lushness of the Dutch landscape.

Van der Woude studied at the School of Arts, Arnhem. Her work has been shown internationally, including, most recently, a solo exhibition at the Fotomuseum, The Hague. She lives and works in Arnhem.
