An ivory okimono, signed Kogyoku, Meiji Period (1868-1912)
with Benten seated in elegant attire, between a bearded warrior, sword in hand and a young fisherman, on his knees opening a casket from which a minogame tries to escape, signed to the base -- 3 3/8in. (8.6cm.) high.
