THE BOWL PROBABLY MUGHAL, LATE 18TH OR EARLY 19TH CENTURY, THE MOUNTS APPARENTLY UNMARKED, ASSEMBLED IN THE LATE 19TH CENTURY
The hexagonal base on six facetted rock crystal ball and claw feet, the base applied with clusters of facetted rock-crystal beads, with short hexagonal stem and openwork scroll brackets, each with suspension ring with plain mounts above, the bowl carved with foliate sprays and with stylized foliate borders, the bowl possibly earlier and applied with later handles formed as dragons enamelled in blue, brown, red, white and green
