RUSSIAN, LATE 19TH CENTURY
The first one depicting the Kazanskaya with a silver-gilt, rayed oklad and champlevé enamel haloes; the other icon portraying Christ Pantokrator, painted on mother-of-pearl, set in a silver frame with stylised, cloisonné enamel scrolls and crosses
Kazanstaya: 3½ x 2 7/8 in. (9 x 7.2 cm)
Christ Pantokrator: 2¾ x 2¼ in. (7 x 5.9 cm) (2)
