circular box, the independent cover centred with an oval medallion enamelled with c-scrolls, foliage and birds in gold and colour paillons on a translucent dark blue ground, applied on an engine-turned gold ground engraved with a diaper pattern enclosing pellets on a concentrically reeded ground, the borders of the lid and the sides enamelled in translucent dark blue and applied with cast gold fleurs-de-lys on a zig-zag guilloché ground, the base centred by a circular medallion chased in two-colour gold with a bouquet of flowers tied with ribbon on a frosted ground, on a gold ground engraved with a diaper pattern enclosing pellets on a concentrically reeded engine-turned ground, the frosted border band with trailing foliage chased in two-colour gold
