With sharply tapering fullered blade etched 'Osman' in Cyrillic letters, the hilt and scabbard each lightly decorated with nielloed flowers on the inner face, the remaining surfaces elaborately decorated with chased running bands of flowers and scrolls picked-out in niello on a contrasting matted ground, all within beadwork lines cast in relief, and with traces of gilding, Russian silver marks
