With broad blade cut with off-set fullers and brass-lined maker's stamps, wooden hilt partly encased in silver, the outer surfaces decorated with niello scrollwork, silver wire grip, and in its original scabbard with large silver mounts elaborately decorated with niello arabesques (the pommel casing and chape each damaged)
