The first No.39720, with blued octagonal barrel, sliding rammer moving on a separate pivot lever, blued cylinder, blued frame of Webley-Bentley type inscribed 'London', chequered walnut grips, and some original finish, Birmingham proof marks; the second No.38106, with blued barrel double-stamped by the retailer beneath the rammer-lever 'H.E.Dimick & Co. St. Louis Mo', the frame inscribed 'Patent', the butt-cap inscribed 'A.Sommerville & Co.', and with traces of original finish, Birmingham proof marks
