MARK OF ANDREW FOGELBERG AND STEPHEN GILBERT, LONDON, 1789
Tapering cylindrical, the sides with three reeded bands, the flat hinged cover with a reeded thumbpiece, with angular handle, the cover and body each later engraved with a crest below a baron's coronet, marked near rim and inside cover
5¾ in. (14.7 cm.) high
24 oz. (741 gr.)
The crest is that of FitzHerbert for Alleyne FitzHerbert, later 1st Baron St. Helens (1753-1839).
