A SET OF THREE ROYAL AMBASSADORIAL GEORGE III OLD SHEFFIELD PLATE WINE COOLERS AND LINERS

Each tapering cylindrical and on circular foot, with two drop-ring handles, with detachable wirework liner, each engraved with the Royal arms within the Garter motto and below the Royal crown all within drapery mantling
8¼ in. (21 cm.) high
The Royal arms are those of George III (r. 1760-1820) (3)
Provenance
Almost certainly supplied to Alleyne FitzHerbert, later 1st Baron St. Helens (1753-1839) as Ambassador to The Hague (1789-1790) or Madrid (1790-1794) and by descent.
